1. Who we are

Symbiosis Living sells pure essential oils, Self-Place Bond synergy blends and accessories through this website. Symbiosis Living is the trading name of Dorothy Lie, a sole trader (Symbiosis Living is not a registered company). Our address is 29A, 3rd Floor, 23 Wharf Street, London SE8 3GG, United Kingdom. These terms apply to every order placed on this website. If you buy as a consumer, they do not affect your legal rights under UK law.

2. Our products

We describe and photograph each product as accurately as we can. Natural oils can vary a little from batch to batch in colour and scent; this is part of what they are, not a fault.

Essential oils are concentrated. They are not medicines, and nothing on this website is medical advice. Please read our Safety Information and the precautions on each product page before use, and keep oils away from children and pets.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include any tax that applies. Delivery costs are shown at checkout before you pay.

Payment is taken when you place your order. Payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card details.

If we make an obvious mistake with a price, we will contact you before sending anything, and you can choose to go ahead at the right price or cancel.

4. Your order

When you place an order, you will receive an email confirming it. The contract between us starts when we send that confirmation.

If something you ordered is not available, we will tell you and refund you in full.

5. Delivery

We deliver to the United Kingdom and Hong Kong. Delivery options, times and costs are on our Shipping & Returns page. The goods are your responsibility once they are delivered to the address you gave us.

6. Your right to cancel

You can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of the day you receive it. To cancel, email us at hello@symbiosisliving.uk with your order number. You then have a further 14 days to send the items back.

We will refund the price of the items and the standard delivery cost within 14 days of receiving them back, or of receiving proof that you sent them, whichever comes first. You pay the cost of sending items back, unless they are faulty or we sent the wrong thing.

Sealed oils. For health and hygiene reasons, an essential oil or blend whose seal has been broken cannot be returned unless it is faulty. Please only open a bottle once you are sure you want to keep it.

7. Faulty or wrong items

If something arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, please tell us as soon as you can, ideally with a photo. Within 30 days of delivery you are entitled to a full refund. After that, we will repair, replace or refund, as the law sets out. We pay the cost of returning faulty or wrong items.

8. Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to take reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for harm caused by using a product against its precautions. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law does not allow it to be limited.

9. Our words and images

The writing, photographs, moodboards and designs on this website belong to Symbiosis Living. You are welcome to quote a few lines with a link back to us; please ask before using anything more.

10. Changes and the law that applies

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones on this page when you placed it. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in another part of the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
